Stephanie Italia Ricci, born October 29 in 1986, is a American-Canadian actor. She's famous for playing April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television series Chasing Life, and for acting as White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions in minor parts in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. In the same year, Ricci also played a regular role in the role of Sasha in Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. In 2010, she was a guest in Unnatural History on Cartoon Network as Maggie Winnock. She was also featured in an Clean & Clear commercial as herself. She was in Valediction which was a short film she created in 2011. In 2013, Ricci appeared in a tiny role in Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut film Don Jon.
